More trouble at Richmond Terrace

RICHMOND - On Jan. 20, Police Officer Sarah Messier responded to a report of an assault in the Town of Richmond. The vicitim was Marilyn Richardson, age 58, the site coordinator of Richmond Terrace, a senior-citizens residence. The person alleged to have assaulted Richardson was Marianne Allen, age 65, a resident of the home. Two weeks ago, a theft was reported at the senior residence. Both the assault and theft appear to be connected.

Allen had asked to speak with Richardson regarding the wording used in a meeting minutes pamphlet. Richardson met with Allen inside her apartment when the conversation turned into an argument.

Allen subsequently assaulted Richardson and threatened verbally with further harm. Allen's granddaughter, Amber Guyette, was arrested on Jan. 12 for a theft at Richmond Terrace.

The dispute between Allen and Richardson was in regards to the theft and the subsequent investigation.
