SARANAC LAKE - Roo the Reader, from Literacy Volunteers of Essex and Franklin Counties, will visit Story Hour Thursday, Jan. 29 at 10:30 a.m. in the Children's Room of the Saranac Lake Free Library, 109 Main Street.
Roo, a charming kangaroo character, will be available before the program, will listen to stories with the children, and will encourage children to read. She will have small gifts for the children.
