Anyone who decides that he wants to reinterpret what God says is clearly opposed to God and has rejected His final word. The battle that is raging today concerning the homosexuality movement is not a battle between denominations or religions, or people groups. It is not about tolerance. No. It is a battle lead by rebellious man against God.
But there is some very good news. Since the verses mentioned above declare that homosexuality is a sin, there is hope for all of those who will accept the sacrifice for sin that God has provided.
Romans 5:8 says "God demonstrated his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." If you or a friend is trapped in the sin of homosexuality, Christ has paid the price of sin by dying on your behalf. He has satisfied the anger of God towards sin so that you can now be forgiven if you choose to receive his Son. That is the good news that we often do not hear in this argument.
