BURLINGTON - For the first time in its history, the private Mater Christi School will issue report cards to its students only three times during the school year.
In order to ensure that parents are kept abreast with what is happening at Mater Christi School, each trimester is being marked with an open house for the parents. The first open house of this year was held and parents were able to visit classrooms between 3-5 p.m. to view their youngster's work and to view displays. The students accompanied their parents and explained the history and purposes of their various pieces of work.
Report cards were issued for the first time this year in mid-December. An evaluation of the new policy will take place at the end of the school year.
