CASTLETON - The Castleton Community Center will be offering four new activities as part of their expanded wellness program. All classes are open to the general public.

Stretch and Tone will be held on Mondays from 5-6 p.m. This program includes exercises to strengthen and tone muscles and provide increased flexibility.

Just for Men meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Each week the class will explore a different component to "total fitness" such as flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, aerobic fitness, agility, and balance. Each participant will work at his own fitness level.

Ball Room Dancing with Mary-Ann and Mario Liguori takes place each Friday evening from 7:30-8:30 p.m. A new dance will be features each month. January will be "Swing."

Stress Management- Meets on Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. Due to the rapid rates of change in today's world and the ever-increasing demands placed on people, stress management has become the first line of defense against long-term illness.

The bulk of chronic illnesses today are directly tied to this inability of the body to respond successfully to today's forms of stress. This class will teach you how to use physical and cognitive tools to eliminate stress and bring our systems back into balance.

Call the community center 802-468-3093 for prices and a complete list of classes or to register for any of the above programs.
