QUEENSBURY - State Police have asked for the public to help identify two men who are suspects in a credit-card theft and larceny case that occurred last week.
Investigators released two pictures of men, taken by store surveillance cameras, suspected to be involved in a grand larceny case involving illicit use of credit cards.
Police said they believe the men stole a purse from an elderly woman's shopping cart at Price Chopper in Queensbury, then used her credit cards to purchase items totalling less than $1,000 at Queensbury Wal-Mart and at the Mount Royal Plaza, both along state Route 9.
The two men were observed operating a full-size pick up truck, with two-tone dark blue or black over a light colored stripe. Anyone who may recognize or know either of these individuals are asked to call the State Police at 745-1035.
