Daryl James, age 41, of Essex Junction was stopped by Vermont State Police Dec. 30 for a safety issue regarding his view being obstructed by snow and ice. Investigation by State Police determined that the accused was under suspension for a DUI making the suspension criminal. VSP arrested the accused and booked him at the Williston barracks. VSP had the vehicle towed and the registration plates were seized.
