Carolers, Christmas donors thanked

The Kenyontown Folks would like a big Thank You to go out to George C. and Jerry C. for being the helping hands for the neighborhood.

Thurman is a small town with a big heart. Our numerous volunteers are proof of that.

A reminder that there are good used clothes of all sizes that are free for the taking in the basement of the town hall. Stop by any Wednesday to look them over during office hours.

Many of us did not enjoy the prank phone call from a young man at 5:30 a.m. on Christmas morn.

Did anyone find the new senior center in Thurman yet? Calls have come in asking for directions.

New leader for Mommy and Me

Under new leadership, the local Mommy & Me program will start off the new year with meetings Wed. Jan, 14 and Wed. Jan. 28.

All toddlers and babies and their mothers or guardians are welcome at the 10 a.m. meetings. There will be fun winter crafts, story time and snacks. All are welcome from any community. Meetings are held at the youth building in Thurman. Club members express their appreciation to Tobie Binder who has been the group's leader for the past nine years. She will be missed by Mommy & Me participants, and she will always be welcome to stop by for a visit. For information, call Jennifer at 623-5024.
