Art gallery to close in ti

TICONDEROGA - Ticonderoga Arts, Inc. is closing for the winter.

The gallery opened its doors on June 26. After six months of operation, a winter break is planned for the gallery, which will reopen this spring.

The gallery has given Ticonderoga a place to view the works of local artists. Paintings in oil and acrylics by Joan Pulling and Regina Heber, photography by Jodi Auborn, Nancy Carter, Art Secor, and the late Brent Whitty, pottery by Jerry Cooper, and handcrafts by Jane Bassett have changed an empty room at 84 Montcalm St. into a display of art.

January and February will be a time of planning new activities, working on personal art projects, contacting new talent, and reorganizing the gallery for Ti Arts members.

For information about works in the gallery or how to join Ticonderoga Arts, call Jane Bassett at 585-6178 or Joan Pulling at 585-6312.

Information is also available on the group's website: www.ticonderogaarts.org.
