Let's talk about child passenger safety!

NORTH CREEK - One major health risk for American families is injury of their infant or child (or worse!) in a car accident. While 96 percent of parents and caregivers believe their child safety seats are installed correctly, research shows that seven out of every 10 are not!

Nationally-certified child passenger safety technicians, Thersa Dunkley and Joyce Vanselow will talk about keeping children safe in the family car as we enjoy some "Coffee & Conversation," at North Country Outreach Center on Tuesday, March 31. This program will begin promptly at 10 a.m. and last till 11:30 a.m.

Come view a DVD and learn about the Four Steps, from infant car seats through booster seats and beyond. Come join us as we explore (hands-on) proper car seat fit and correct use. Come and enjoy some refreshments and discussion of a very important subject!

Please RSVP to Jill or Thersa at North Country Ministry: 251-4460 or 251-4425 9-5 p.m. weekdays. Childcare is provided (let us know how many children you are bringing when RSVP'ing)! Please bring a snack and any other necessities for your child. Plan to arrive a bit early so that we can start promptly at 10 a.m.! Coffee and Conversation is presented by The Baby's Place, a program of North Country Ministry.
