Academic awards announced at Bolton High

BOLTON LANDING - The guidance dept. of Bolton Central School has announced January's honor roll.

The honor lists are based upon averages weighted by course credit, with no incomplete or unsatisfactory grades.

Achieving Eagle List by maintaining a grade-point average of 92.5 or over are 11th graders Jacqueline O'Donnell and Matthew Peterson; 10th graders Charlotte Caldwell, Sonja Hess, and Caleb Kneeshaw; 9th grader Roselynn Denne; and 7th graders Olivia Clesceri and Kimberly Wright.

Attaining the Honor List with at least a 89.5 average are Kathleen Bliley, Benjamin Gaddy, Amanda Moffitt, Cassandra Norton, Michael Pratt, and Cindy Tu in grade 12; Taylor Barrack, Michelle Carpenter, Samantha Kincaid, Domenick Pfau in grade 11; Tyler Calzada, and Ryan Dickson in grade 10; Michael Andersen, Sierra Detrick, Kaitlin Dimick, Evan Malone, and Todd Markham in grade 9; Emma LeMaire, Eric Onjack, and William Smith in grade 8; and Samuel Cady, Jack Hughes, and Molly Schoder in grade 7.

Named to the Merit List with an average of at least 84.5 are 12th graders Bianca Braman, Sam Gabriels, Donnie Sammis, Catherine Smith, and Brian Vilmar; 11th graders Harold Caldwell, Meredith Chamberlain, Taylor Cronquist, Beth Fisher, Eric Fisher, and Laura Jensen; 10th graders Mark Dawson, Annelise Jensen, Elizabeth Parker, and Alana Peterson; 9th graders Evan Collins, Marie DeLorenzo, Sean Donohue, Mitchell Jordon, Courtney Kincaid, Julianne O'Donnell, Marisa Parrotta, and Justine Tiger; 8th graders Samantha Boyle, Tristyn Grover, Mackenzie Hess, Valerie Jensen, Sydney LaPan, and Madlyn Wilson; and 7th graders Django Denne, Glenn Goodwin, and Kevin Wholey.

The students listed have been awarded a trip March 3 to Aimiee's Dinner and a Movie for their achievement, school officials said.
