BOLTON - Up Yonda Farm, an environmental education center, is sponsoring a variety of activities for children of all ages during the last few days of winter break. Adults are also invited to participate.
Here is a schedule of their events and activities:
• Saturday, Feb. 14, and Thursday Feb. 19 through Sat. Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. each day - Guided snowshoe hikes, $6 per person, (includes a snowshoe rental. Learn the basics of this popular winter sport. Snowshoeing is easy to master and a great way to get some outdoor exercise. Pre- register for any of our hikes. Snowshoes are available in child and adult sizes.
• Thursday, Feb. 19, 1 p.m. - Squirrel House Construction. Watching squirrels at work can provide hours of enjoyment! By building a squirrel box, folks can create a cozy place for these tiny acrobats to live. Pre-registration required, call 644-9767.
