Snow plow casualties

Some Verizon telephone customers were without service Friday Feb. 6 and for half the following day. The Verizon repairman located the problem: a green box full of phone wires had been hit by a snow plow on the Garnet Lake Rd. corner. We've also noticed some mailboxes plowed down and road signs bent in the area. There has been over five feet of snow this season in the hills, according to a local resident measuring the precipitation.
