NCSPCA 12/19

We have mentioned in the past a number of ways you can help the NCSPCA; here is another way you can help out. Kris and Jim Harding, the new owners of Cornerstone in Elizbethtown, are setting aside a percentage of their profits for the shelter's benefit. Cornerstone features handmade gifts by over 200 American artists, and a wide selection of locally produced gourmet foods; perfect for stocking stuffers. The shop is located on Water Street, across from Radio Shack. They are open daily except Sunday. You can reach them at 873-9130.

We would also like to announce the upcoming Literary Evening with Russell Banks, author of Cloudsplitter, Rule of the Bone, Affiction, and The Sweet Hereafter to benefit the NCSPCA. The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Whallonsburg Garage, the corner of Route 22 and Walker Road, Whallonsburg. The suggested donation is $10.

For ongoing information regarding cuurent events, recent newsletters, and animals available for adoption, please visit our website, www.ncspca.gov. The website is a great way to learn more about our organization, how to apply for adoption, and just general interesting stuff about the pets who are waiting for their forever homes.
