WILLSBORO - The Willsboro girls snagged the MVAC championship title last year, but lost many seniors to graduation. Still, this year's squad brings plenty of experience and potential.
"We've got speed and we've got height," said head coach Charlene Lobdell, "and if we can get them working together, we're going to be there."
The Warriors return three starters from last year's squad - seniors Alicia Mahoney, Jade Sayward, and Marion James - who will no doubt have a big impact on both sides of the ball. Fellow seniors Sierra Bruno and Krystal Porter also return with varsity experience.
A promising group of underclassmen join the team this year, including juniors Morgan Jaquish, Madison LaMotte, and Brittany Schreiber; and sophomores Hannah Bruno and Serene Holland.
