Ti scout earns Eagle award

TICONDEROGA - A Ticonderoga teen has achieved scouting's highest honor.

David Cook of Ticonderoga has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is the son of Jeff and Joanne Cook of Ticonderoga.

Cook, a member of Venture Crew 72 and Boy Scout Troop 72, has been in Scouting for over 11 years.

For his Eagle service project, Cook planned and managed the building of a lean-to on the VFW property in Ticonderoga. The property is being developed by the VFW for youth groups such as the Boy Scouts to use for camping.

Cook, a graduate of St. Mary's School and Ticonderoga High School, will be attending St. Lawrence University this fall.
