"I know some of the fire trucks will have the Quad logo on them," said Favreau, who is the organization's president.
Overall, Favreau is happy with the way the village and the Quadricentennial committee have come together for this special event.
"I think it's wonderful. I think it's fantastic," she remarked. "It's just making everybody think of what rich history we have here in our area. And, not just Samuel de Champlain, everything. Just the whole area. It's making people more aware of what went on in this area."
This year's Fourth of July events will be held from Friday, July 3, through Saturday, July 5. If interested in having a float during the parade, contact village clerk Carol Hanfield at 297-5502.
