Following the walk, there will be a barbecue at the Cobble Hill Inn restaurant. Prize raffles and a 50-50 raffle will bolster the fundraising efforts.
New this year is a Chinese auction with dozens of items donated from area businesses. Also, a DJ will be on hand to provide entertainment later in the evening.
Carlee said the comaraderie produced by the walk has helped her and the rest of her family to deal with their loss.
"It kind of gives us a positive way of looking at things every year instead of focusing on the negative," said Carlee. "It's really nice to see all the people whose lives were touched by Nathan."
