The event, sponsored by Adirondack Lakes and Trail Outfitters of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, is an annual fundraiser for the NFCT.
The NFCT, at 740 miles in length, is one of the nation's premier bluewater trails. Following traditional Native American travel routes, the trail passes through 45 communities, four states and one Canadian provence from Old Forge and Fort Kent, Maine. In between are 56 lakes and ponds and 22 rivers and streams, along with 62 carries totaling nearly 55 miles.
The event will feature a great line up of films about canoeing, kayaking to satisfy everyone from adrenaline junkies to placid paddlers.
