Meetings, events scheduled

Townspeople are invited to attend the April meetings of the Thurman Town Board. The fiscal meeting is set for Monday April 20 and the regular business meeting is to be held on Tuesday April 21. Both start at 7 p.m.

A public hearing will be held at the town board meeting on April 21 7 P.M. concerning the subdivision of two lots, totaling several acres on Garnet Lake Rd., to four.

The local public hearing on the Warrensburg Central School District 2009-10 budget will be held at 7 p.m. May 4 at the Thurman Town Hall.

The Gleaning food delivery in Thurman is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday April 21. Those participating are asked to please bring bags. For information, call 623-9649.

The senior bus to runs on Friday April 24 to Glens Falls and Queensbury. Call Laura at 623-9281 to reserve a seat.

A rabies clinic for house pets will be held Saturday April 18 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Chestertown fire house. For information, call 761-6580.

Thurman's Mommie and Me group will be undertaking a a project at 10 a.m. Wednesday April 22 for Earth Day at the Athol youth building. For information, call 623-5024.
