Community lecture on cardiac arrest April 30

PLATTSBURGH - Samer Siouffi, MD, of Lake Champlain Cardiology Associates will present Sudden Cardiac Arrest, a free community lecture Thursday, April 30. The program will take place in the CVPH auditoriums beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Sudden cardiac arrest kills more people each year than strokes, AIDS and breast cancer combined. Siouffi, an electrophysiologist, will discuss the incidence of sudden cardiac arrest and how knowing more about this malfunction of the heart can help you prevent it. He'll also offer information about risk factors and treatment options.
