CANTON - A student from the State University of New York at Canton was recently recognized for his academic excellence through their induction into the Lambda Eta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
Justin Blinn, a motorsports performance and repair major from Lake Placid, was among students who achieved the high academic standings necessary to join the honor society.
As members, students must maintain a high grade point average and stay involved with the community through service-oriented projects. Induction into Phi Theta Kappa is among the highest honors available to undergraduate students. Associate degree students are encouraged to continue their studies in one of SUNY Canton's bachelor's degree programs.
