Willsboro 4-11

Another good sign of spring is to see some of our vacationers beginning to return. Martina Govier & Paula Calkins just returned from spending a month in Myrtle Beach. Jack & Judy Hams, and Joyce & Walter Baumann have also return from that same area. Some of our locals have just returned from a cruse to Mexico.

We are very proud of Austin Ferris who traveled to Albany with his family to compete in the state wide Geography Bee along with 100 other state winners. He did not win but did well and we are very proud of his accomplishment.

I am not sure what happened; I went to the Fire Hall last Sunday to get my car washed and found no one on duty. Four of the Willsboro United Methodist Women attended the Spring Women's meeting in Hudson Falls this past week. Heard several gun shots ring out this past weekend, (sounded like black powder) so must be the Fish & Game target practices are once again being made available.

Sorry to learn that Anne & Jan Goedewaagen have given up their Willsboro residence and moved to Canaan, Conn. into a retirement Village. Florence Hathaway called to report that her Grandson Kenzie and his wife are the proud parents of twin girls born this past week, Addison Joan & Tess Elizabeth, making her a proud Great Grandmother along with proud Grandparents Zane & Debbie Hathaway. Happy Easter to all and hopeful many will join the in the many Easter Services at all of the local churches.

Sympathy is extend to the family of Frank King and Herb Scheinberg both passed away this past week.
