Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice (RAVNAH) has named Jamie Belchak as manager of rehabilitation services. In his new role, Belchak will direct a staff of 16 physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
"Jamie has the expertise to meet today's home health challenges," said Laura Driscoll, RAVNAH's associate director of Home Care. "He brings a sports medicine approach to orthopedic rehabilitation in the home setting.
Belchak comes to RAVNAH from the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice of Vermont and New Hampshire (VNAH), where he was the Therapy Coordinator. Prior to VNAH, he managed the therapy department at Haven Health Center (recently renamed Rutland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center).
Born and raised in Connecticut, Belchak received his degree in physical therapy from the University of Connecticut and has lived in Vermont for the past 12 years.
RAVNAH is a non-profit home health care agency providing high quality home health, hospice, private duty and community health and wellness programs throughout Rutland County and the Dorset area.
