Episcopalians welcome new spiritual leader

Members of St. Thomas and Grace Episcopal Church welcomed the Margaret Fletcher as their new spiritual leader March 29. She preached at both the 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. services; there was a reception following the second service. Both services were held at Grace Church in Forestdale.

Margaret (Margo) Fletcher was born in South Africa and came to the United States in the 1970s by way of England. She lived in Connecticut and New York and currently lives in Bennington.

The deacon said that she is looking forward to being a part of the greater Brandon community. She is particularly interested in adult and children's education as well as environmental stewardship.

St. Thomas and Grace are the Episcopal churches serving Brandon, Forestdale, and surrounding communities. Church services are currently held at the Grace church in Forestdale. Services from May to July will be held at St. Thomas in Brandon.
