CVU Int'l Club seeks new members

HINESBURG The International Club at Champlain Valley Union High School is looking for students interested in cultures, languages, and global issues. Past club events have included free salsa lessons, an Asian potluck lunch, a world music iPod dance party, a screening and discussion of the film titled The Kite Runner and cultural field trips to the Flynn Theatre. We will also be getting to know our international students; this year we welcome students from Korea, Chile, Sweden, Mexico, and Denmark, said Mike Martin, club advisor. We meet every week for discussion, exotic food, travel pictures, and event planning. Meeting are in Room 217. You can contact Martin via e-mail at mike@cvuhs.org.
