Kretser to present on Altai

LAKE PLACID Join The Wild Centers Director of Programs Jen Kretser on her adventures through the Altai Republic in Siberia. Over the past 6 years, a connection has been forged between the Adirondack Park and the Altai Republic in Siberia through a series of professional exchanges. Come see beautiful images of the Siberian landscape and the Altai People and learn how the Altai Republic is looking at the Adirondacks as a model for educational programming in its own parks. This special ADK presentation will be held Saturday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. at Adirondack Mountain Clubs (ADKs) High Peaks Information Center, located at Heart Lake in Lake Placid. This presentation is free and open to the public. Kretsers presentation is part of ADKs Saturday Evening Lecture Series, funded with support from Stewarts Shops. Jenn Kretser lives in Saranac Lake. She is currently the director of programs for the Wild Center museum in Tupper Lake and was formerly the education director at ADK Mt. Club.
