Hart joins staff at Internal Medicine

SARANAC LAKE Adirondack Internal Medicine & Pediatrics is pleased to announce the addition of Brian K. Hart, M.D. to their practice. Harts most recent assignment was as the Occupational Medicine Plant Physician for Alcoa in Massena. There, he was the sole physician caring for 1,200 industrial employees working with a medical staff of three Registered Nurses, a Medical Technician, 10 EMTs, and three Certified Athletic Trainers performing physical rehabilitation. Prior to his tenure at Alcoa, Hart worked for several years in the Emergency Department at Massena Memorial Hospital, serving as the Emergency Medicine Physician. Hart received his undergraduate degree from the College of William & Mary in 1979 and his Medical Degree from SUNY Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 1983. He served his residency at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, and later SUNY Buffalo, Department of Family Medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Practice, and beginning Sept. 15, will be seeing patients of Adirondack Internal Medicine & Pediatrics in their Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake offices. Hart and his wife Peg reside in Saranac Lake and have two children. His hobbies include outdoor activities such as kayaking, snowboarding, skiing and biking.
