Mountain Lake proud of DSP staff

To the Times of Ti: On July 14, 2008, the United States Senate passed a resolution designating the week of Sept. 8 as National Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week. Mountain Lake Services recognizes and thanks our direct support professionals (DSP) for their dedication to their work. It is also during this time that our agency wishes to educate the general public as to the wonderful work that the DSP does to ensure the individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities lead fulfilling lives. Direct support professionals, as the providers of long term supports and services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, build relationships to help these individuals to fulfill their dreams. Our DSP staff at Mountain Lake Services work hard day-in and day-out to offer quality services and to help each individual to realize their hopes and dreams. Our agency is proud of the work that our DSP staff accomplish on a daily basis to enrich the lives of individuals with these disabilities. It is also the DSP who works to ensure that the individuals families are an active part of their life, while also helping the individual to build enduring community connections. Our staff are outstanding, and without their dedication to their jobs the people they support would not reach their goals as they do now. So, thank you to all of our DSPs who have dedicated their lives to those with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You are an amazing group!
