MONKTON The Monkton Volunteer Fire Department will sponsore its third annual Grass Drags at the Layn Farm (4325 Mountain Rd.) Sept. 13-14. This fund raising event is for the fire department and features competitors from all over New England. Admission is $10 each day, and children aged 12 and under are free.
