NEW HAVEN On Aug. 28, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Robert Scott Parkman, age 49, of Ferrisburgh, was stopped for speeding, on Route 7 in New Haven, by Senior Trooper Joseph Pregent of the Troop C DUI Team. While speaking with Parkman, Pregent noted a moderate odor of intoxicant and that Parkman's eyes were bloodshot. Parkman was subsequently taken into custody without incident and transported to the New Haven State Police Barracks where he was processed for DUI. Parkman was released on a citation to appear in Addison District Court Sept. 15 to answer to the charge of DUI refusal.
