Senior Enrichment Day Oct. 13

You are invited to participate in a learning experience designed especially for older adults. This years Enrichment Day program offers 22 different workshops to choose from. Topics range from informative to just plain fun. Enrichment Day will be held at Stafford Middle School on Broad Street; parking will be readily available in the front of the building in the Broad Street lot. Our keynote speaker will be Juliet Funt an improvisational comedienne. Her fast paced and hilarious presentations have delighted audiences from third graders to the United States Air Force. Like her father, Allen Funt from the Candid Camera show, she has fun in her blood! Join us and get ready to have a blast! Attend your choice of two or three workshops. Dont forget to visit the resource tables with information on a wide variety of services offered by local organizations. Free blood pressure checks will be provided by CVPH Medical Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Health, crafts, older adult issues and fun, you get it all at Senior Enrichment Day 2008. Personalized folders including map of Stafford Middle School and listing of the (up to 3) workshops the person will be attending. We hope youll join us on Oct. 13, send in your registration today. The registration fee of $25 includes a buffet-style lunch with dessert and beverage. Fee for early registration is only $20 through Sept. 12.
