Dinner to benefit Hannah's Hope Fund

PLATTSBURGH A benefit dinner will be held at Mainly Lobster, 785 Military Turnpike, Monday, Sept. 5 from 4-8 p.m. The benefit will be for Hannahs Hope Fund, an organization working to find a treatment and cure for Giant Axonal Neuropathy, a rare, neurological disorder which affects mobility. The organization was started by Lori and Matt Sames whose daughter Hannah was diagnosed with GAN last year. The cost per meal is $20 and includes a lobster dinner with french fries and coleslaw; fried fishermans platter (haddock, scallops and shrimp) with french fries and coleslaw; or yankee pot roast with mashed potatoes and corn. All dinners include rolls, bottled beverage and a sundae. The evening will also include raffles, a silent auction and bake sale.
