Carl Edwards' show car on display at Save-A-Lot

TUPPER LAKE Save-A-Lot welcomes customers to see the No. 60 Save-A-Lot Ford Fusion show car Friday, Sept. 5. Customers can get a free professional photo taken with a NASCAR race car at the Tupper Lake store, located at 94 Demars Blvd., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Earlier this year, Save-A-Lot Food Stores signed on as the primary sponsor for Carl Edwards and the No. 60 Ford for 12 races in the Nationwide Series in 2008. The show car has been one of the cornerstones of our program, said Jeffrey Proulx, president and owner of the local Save-A-Lot. Not all of our customers can get out to the track to see Carl and his No. 60 Save-A-Lot Ford Fusion, so we are taking it directly to them. If attendance is any indication, our shoppers are excited about seeing the car and the giveaways for children and adults alike. Im proud to represent Save-A-Lot and all their associates, said Edwards. Its great to represent a company whose dedication to addressing health issues and helping disadvantaged families is a top priority. On behalf of the entire No. 60 team I want to thank Save-A-Lot for coming on board with us, we look forward to taking our new sponsor to victory lane in 2008, said Edwards. Save-A-Lot president and CEO Bill Shaner echoed Edwards excitement. Everyone at Save-A-Lot is excited to partner with Carl Edwards, he said. We are fortunate to partner with a top competitor and admirable individual who will represent our brand with the highest integrity. This new partnership provides another reason for shoppers to discover the great food, great prices, and great people that Save-A-Lot has to offer.
