ACNA seeks vendors for Adirondack Folk Arts Festival

ELIZABETHTOWN The Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks will host the 20th Annual Field, Forest and Stream Day, an Adirondack Folk Arts Festival on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the museum grounds of the Adirondack History Center in Elizabethtown. The Arts Council is currently seeking exhibitors who sell handmade items that tie in with the festivals focus on the harvest, hunt, and other traditional North Country work and leisure time activities. A number of outdoor Antiques booths will be available at $50. per 10x 10 double antique booths are $85. Approximately 50 10 x 8 deep spaces are available under tents with additional 10x 10 spaces outside. Tables, and chairs are the exhibitors responsibility. The cost for space is $45 under a tent; $30 outside and $50 for food and antiques. To receive an application, contact ACNA at 962-8778. Application deadline is Sept. 8. Spaces will be assigned in the order in which reservations are received. If you are interested in volunteering for a 2 1/2 hour period during the day of the festival, for free admission, please call 962-8778. Many other jobs are available before, during, after the day's events.
