Drug raid in Fair Haven

FAIR HAVEN Fair Haven Police, Vermont State Police, and federal law enforcement officials were involved in what appeared to have been a downtown Fair Haven drug raid Oct. 2. The police action took place at approximately 10:30 p.m. An eyewitness described the night raid as a lot of commotion for a small town like Fair Haven. The same eyewitness said police surveillance operations were underway several hours before the raid took place. The raid took place at an apartment building in the 1-10 block of Washington Street. Details of the incident have not been released.
