Church plans holiday bazaar

MIDDLEBURY The Congregational Church of Middlebury will hold its annual Holiday Bazaar in the church fellowship hall on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be many handmade items from table runners to dishcloths, sweaters to mittens, and everything in between. The woodworkers of the church have also been very busy. Monas Garden Center will have plants, bulbs, and seeds for sale at very reasonable prices. A Greater Gift will offer items from SERRV to purchase. There will be Christmas wreaths to order, and the food table will have delicious goodies for sale. Everyones favorite room, Attic Treasures, will once again be filled to the brim with items for everyone. The new church cookbook will be available at the Bazaar as well. At $15 each, it includes many wonderful new recipes and some favorite comfort foods. A queen-size Bear Paw design quilt, handcrafted by Moira Fairhurst, will be raffled off. Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5, and may be purchased at the Bazaar. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Cost is $7 for adults, children ages four to eleven pay $4 and children under four are free. If you have never been to this Holiday Bazaar, mark your calendar now for Nov. 8.
