Hague volunteer has FD support

To the Times of Ti: We want to let Gerry Boyd know hes in our prayers. For the past 54 years he has devoted his life to the Hague Volunteer Fire Department and due to an illness is unable to perform his duties to the ambulance crew and this must be a great hardship for him. We can imagine he must be overwhelmed because hes dealing with so much lately, and maybe hes wondering how things are ever going to work out.We just wanted to remind him that although life brings many changes, Gods love for us remains constant. Hes always there, guiding us through decisions and helping us do the hard things...always restoring in us a sense of hope and peace, no matter what were facing. And the most beautiful thing about God is that the more we need him, the closer he is. Thats how I know he is especially close to Gerry now. Gerry we want to let you know you are a very special part of our life. We are a family, not just a fire department and we are saying prayers for you each day. This community should feel so truly lucky and grateful to have someone like Gerry that would devote 54 years of volunteering services to the Hague Fire Department. We just want to let Gerry know how much we care and that we will be with him. I believe he has a deep place in his heart where treasured memories will always live and one day those memories will be a tremendous comfort. We all love you Gerry and God will embrace you in your time of need. Renee Swinton Hague Volunteer Fire Department
