Man remembered by local farmers

SUDBURY M. Perry Ketcham, age 88, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 at Rutland Health Care Center. Ketcham was born in Sudbury on July 8, 1920. He was the son of Robert Perry and Lena (Churchill) Ketcham. He received his early education in a Sudbury One Room School House. He was graduated from Brandon High School, Class of 1937. Ketcham was the fertilizer buyer for many Rutland and Addison County farms. Surviving is one son Oliver Ketcham and his wife Mary Ellen of Sudbury and grandchildren. The graveside committal service and burial will take place on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m., in the family lot, at Willow Brook Cemetery in Sudbury. The Rev. Albert Skip Baltz, pastor of St. Marys Catholic Church will officiate. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be made, in his memory to the Brandon Area Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 232, Brandon 05733.
