Farmers Market plans holiday shows

FAIR HAVEN The Fair Haven Farmers Market will be host two holiday shows this year. The market shows will be at the Fair Haven American Legion Hall on South Main Street (Route 22A), 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. The shows wre Sunday, Nov. 2, and Sunday, Dec. 7. Slate Valley Community Network (a non-profit community group) will be hosting a mini-basket party as well as a 50/50 drawing. The group will operate a lunch stand with soup, hot dishes, drinks, and goodies. Proceeds from the these activities will be going to help the farmer's market start up fund for next season as well as help with Slate Valley Community Network's events for the upcoming season. They will be holding the basket party, 50/50, and food stand at both of the holiday shows so don't miss out on what is new at each show There is still room to join in as a vendor at both shows. At the same time of the December show weekend, the Fair Haven Historical Society will also host the Festival of Trees at the American Legion Hall Dec. 5-6.
