Presentation on creation planned

WARRENSBURG The True History of Dinosaurs, a creationist program, will be presented at First Baptist Church of Warrensburg at 11 a.m. Sunday Oct. 5 and at Thurman Baptist Church at 6 pm that evening. Both programs are open to the public and are appropriate for and of interest to all ages. All are invited. Called controversial and thought-provoking the seminar presents the argument, based on fossil evidence that supports the creation and the historical accuracy of the worldwide flood of Noah. The programs will present coal mine discoveries and recent dinosaur sightings. A collection of real fossil, dinosaur tracks and eggs, and other authentic visual aids accompany the teaching topics. Presenting the program is Rev. Paul Veit, a graduate of Nyack College. He is the Founder and Director of Declare Gods Wonders, Inc., an evangelistic ministry, and the New England Creation Education Center. In addition to the First Baptist Sunday morning service, Rev. Veit will teach the adult Sunday School class there at 9:45 a.m. For information, call Jerry Hensler at 494-2050 or contact the church at 623-9373. Thurman Baptist Church is located at 386 South Johnsburg Rd. Pastor Herrmann may be reached at 623-2226.
