INDIAN LAKE Made in the Adirondacks is the theme for the Eleventh Annual Indian Lake Country Christmas Tour (CCT). The event will be held Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The CCT began in 1998 and has become one of the premiere annual events held in the town. Many holiday shoppers return each year to Indian Lake to get a jump on holiday shopping by purchasing their Made in the Adirondacks gifts during the CCT. Over 45 Artisans and crafters will have their artifacts for sale. Fifteen of those crafters will be in the school gymnasium. Doors will be open for shoppers at 10 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. In addition to the most crafters we ever had there will be a spinning demonstration and a picture frame demonstration, two free childrens workshops and an opportunity to have your childs picture taken with Father Christmas. On Friday evening there will be a Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the town park in front of the Indian Lake market. Come join us in singing carols and meet Father Christmas and then enjoy a meal in one of our restaurants. On Saturday the tour concludes with a bon-fire at Byron Park and the awarding of door prizes by each of our crafters. There will be a lighting contest for businesses and homes with $75 prizes. You need to register your home or business for this contest so get your registration form at the chamber or town hall. The maps and description of each crafters items for sale is available at the chamber of commerce, the town hall and various businesses.
