LAKE GEORGE A benefit dinner to benefit a local firefighter whose home was destroyed by fire will be held Sat. Nov. 22 at the Lake George Holiday Inn-Turf. Two seatings will occur for the benefit event: the first at 5 p.m., the second at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend to help defray the loss Lake George Fire Dept. 1st Assistant Chief Alan Moon experienced when his home went up in flames Oct. 16. The buffet dinner costs $20, and tickets, in limited supply, may be ordered through the Lake George Fire Dept. or by reaching Barbara McGuirk at firstname.lastname@example.org or 361-4496. An envelope basket and 50-50 raffle are planned. A silent auction will be offered and items for auction are being accepted.
