BURLINGTON - Fourth and fifth graders from Burlington schools hosted a gubernatorial forum Oct. 28 from 9:30-11 a.m. at Contois Auditorium in Burlington City Hall.
Students from Barnes, Champlain and Smith Elementary Schools posed questions to the candidates for governor that reflected students' priorities regarding the quality of life in their community.
The questions were contributed by 160 students in seven of Burlington's 4th and 5th grade classrooms who studied this year's historic election through the lens of quality of life as part of the Healthy Neighborhoods/Healthy Kids project.
