To the Addison Eagle: I was amused to read that John McClaughry regards the carbon dioxide emitted by fossil fuel combustion as harmless. I wonder if he is aware that the Earth revolves around the sun and that man is descended from the apes? In other words, is he 500, 150, or merely 50 years behind the times? Edward Fagen, Middlebury
