Board appoints Donald L. Caldera president

LAKE PLACID At a special Adirondack North Country Association Board of Directors meeting held April 23, Donald L. Caldera was appointed to the position of ANCA Board President to succeed outgoing President, Ronald Ofner. Ofner will remain a contributing member of the Board and has recently been appointed Executive Director of the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council. I welcome this opportunity to assume the Presidency of ANCA and to help our members, businesses and communities from throughout our 14 upstate counties to address the many economic and quality of life issues we face collectively, said Caldera. Elected to the ANCA Board in 1999 and Board Secretary since 2002, Caldera is a Lake Placid resident whose background is as a career manager and entrepreneur with 45 years of corporate experience in acquisitions, development, finance and senior operating posts.
