Adopt-A-Pet

If ever there was a kitty in need of a good home, it's Max. He was brought into the shelter in September as a stray, as the people that found him were very worried. Max was born without full upper eyelids, and his constant exposure to air and other elements, caused him to develop bad ulcers on his eyes. He also had an upper respiratory infection, which caused the little guy to be in pretty rough shape. When he came in, he was shy and scared; but soon realized that we loved him and wanted to help. Daily eye ointment cleared up his ulcers and showed us what pretty green eyes he has. A little time and his URI cleared up as well. Max was around eight weeks old when he came in, and is now around nine months. Max has had constant exposure to kids, cats and dogs, and loves everyone and everything. He still requires eye ointment once a day, but behaves like a gentleman when he is getting it. He really loves to be held on his back and is more than willing to let you rub his belly. If you could be the new home for this sweet boy, come and visit him. You wont be sorry!
