CHARLOTTE - Lowell Thompson and Friends to perform at Coffehouse Concert Series On Friday, April 4 at 7 p.m., the Charlotte Coffeehouse Concert Series welcomes Lowell Thompson to the Charlotte Senior Center. Thompson, a native of Shelburne, has made his mark on Burlington s music scene, but on April 4 he will bring his unique musical stylings to a more intimate setting at the Senior Center. Thompson began playing guitar at age 12, and after releasing his first album, "Turn," he has drawn comparisons to Beck and Wilco's Jeff Tweedy. His tours have taken him around the country, from L.A. to Nashville and from Austin to Philadelphia. The event is open to all ages. A recommended donation of $5 to $10 will help support the Senior Center. For more information, please call 802-425-6345 or 802-425-2910.
