Girls Scouts work together to acheive their goals

INDIAN LAKE Having fun, learning new skills, and working together - all three very important aspects of Indian Lake Girl Scouting. With an active schedule, and dedicated leadership, the girls look forward to another great year. Area troops include: Senior Troop 295, Cadette Troop 341, and Junior Troop 289. Liz Forsell and Elizabeth Cannan lead troops 295 and 341. They are small troops, so we tend to do all of our activities together, Cannan said. Its hard work, but its worth it. Troop members include: Morgan Hinckley, Sidney Hinckley, Tessa Leddick, Kierstyn Natter, Magan Miller, Emma Gray, Chelsea Walters, Amanda Forsell, and Eva Jean Andersson. Troop 289 is led by Elizabeth Cannan and is composed of Shea Callanan, Alex Mitchell, Tori Moore, Alexis Seery, Cheyenne Wilder, Summer MacAvoy, Jerrica Benton, and Erica Dumond. In 2008, the Scouts hope to establish a Daisy troop led by Robin Jay.
