New cruise boat coming to Lake Champlain

May 21, 2008, inaugurates the Moonlight Lady, Vermont s first overnight cruise boat since 1952, when the renowned steamship, the Ticonderoga sailed the waters of Lake Champlain. The Moonlight Lady, with eight private cabins offers two-, four- and seven-day vacations designed to discover the region s rich history, unique geography, and exquisitely beautiful flora and fauna. The ship's historian and naturalist will lead the waterway expeditions enhanced with tales of Revolutionary War battles and Indian lore during these learning vacations. On-shore excursions offer guests time on their own to recreate and relax after which hearty appetites will be rewarded with the chef's creations from the culinary theater.
